Data Scientist - Fintech Payment Platform - Abu Dhabi

A fintech payment platform is seeking a new Data Scientist to join their Customer Analytics team:

Responsibilities:

• Design, optimize, test, implement, and maintain predictive models
• Utilize both conventional and unconventional data sets to extract insights used to develop innovative new solutions
• Collaborate with various teams across the business to gather requirements
• Solve business issues and develop solutions to answer business questions
• Present insights and reports to stakeholders
• Develop sufficient documentation
• Stay up-to-date with developments and innovations in the data science field
• Ensure compliance with data security protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• 3+ Years of experience working in a Data Science role
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a highly quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, etc)
• Experience with statistical analysis
• Experience with machine learning
• Proficiency with SAS
• Proficiency with Python or R
• Experience with Dataiku
• Knowledge of Azure Machine learning ops
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Problem-solving mindset
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience working in the finance industry (nice-to-have)
