Our client is seeking a strong C++ Developer to work in a hybrid environment in San Diego (2 days onsite per week).
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2
Responsibilities
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities
- Apply thorough knowledge of software methodologies to design and develop robust software solutions.
- Design and development of software applications using C++, employing design patterns and following the complete application development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain scripts using at least one scripting language to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Interface with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, ensuring strong proficiency in database management and optimization.
- Implement and maintain software solutions using both Object Oriented and procedural programming languages.
- Utilize UNIX command-level skills to manage and troubleshoot system operations.
- Develop and maintain build automation processes using tools such as Make, CMake, and shell scripting to streamline software development and deployment.
- Thorough knowledge of software methodologies, distributed networking, databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications
- Significant experience with C++ design and development, design patterns, complete application development lifecycle, and at least one scripting language
- Strong proficiency in database interfacing and relational database management systems (RDBMS such as Oracle or similar)
- Expert knowledge of Object Oriented and procedural languages
- Solid UNIX command level and “Make File” experience. Shell scripting and build automation (make, cmake, etc.) knowledge
