Process and Project Manager - Maintenance and Engineering

About The Role

This role is responsible in assisting in identifying opportunities for the functional improvement and introduction of overall Technical Business Systems and initiatives within Technical Division. Will be working with Technical Business Systems Competency centre to manage the strategic product lifecycle implementations to realize the business objectives on a daily operational manner enabling increased business operational efficiency, TAT adhering to Compliance and safety standards.

Manage a diverse team of domain specialists to ensure technical department are using the systems, tools and processes required to maintain operational efficiency for a cost-effective sustainable Maintenance operation. Responsible for the management of business systems support team to service both existing and future M&E /OEM systems, processes and new Business product implementations

Strategic

• Align with the department strategic direction and the business initiatives by proposing innovative products/services considering fleet complexity, growth, operation requirements and cutting-edge digital M&E technologies available.
• Management of the Work Program through Project prioritization and its execution based on compliance, costs and operational efficiency.
• Responsible for the end-to-end management and support of Technical MRO System and its functional enhancements and upgrades which caters to the complex Business operational requirements
• Introduction and execution of Process Engineering through ideation, establishing success criteria and its execution based on Business objectives and KPIS
• Work closely with Line Management and stakeholders to solve business unit problems, redefining processes, developing support tools, and providing project level implementation support
• Proposing of new MRO technologies for enhancing business TAT and cost effectivity and alignment with business strategies and Cost optimization.
  
  

Operational

• Manage functional improvements of process and systems to ensure successful implementation enhancing business operations.
• Manage Business Process initiatives and its re-engineering that lead to operational efficiency through automation across departments.
• Responsible single point of contact or account management for all aspects of Process engineering, functional system enhancement new M&E products and their Dashboard creation
• Ensure the establishment of an ongoing functional support framework for all Business systems for fault resolution, service management requests and training.
• Responsible to review functional requirements and system modifications for mitigating any functional gaps ensuring audit controls and its compliance to the company policies and regulations.
• Ensure daily updates to the Line and Technical Management and support operational communications and briefings.
• Perform other department duties related to position as directed by Line management and Head of Department.
• Designated functional and system administration for M&E systems and its upgrades through configuration and release management

Essential

About you

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of experience in leading and supporting large enterprise Maintenance & Engineering / Aviation systems.
• Extensive understanding of Systems and Innovations for Airline/ MRO business functional requirements.
• High level knowledge of Business functions and processes for an Maintenance & Engineering operational environment.
• Knowledge of developing M&E based systems dashboards for performance reporting and visual management and insight-based analytics
  
  

Preferred

• Minimum 3 years in managing M&E systems and its support together with Business process knowledge
• Strong problem investigation skillset supported by extensive experience in process root cause analysis and functional solutions
• Able to identify and make process improvement recommendations and plan for execution and implementation of new processes.
• Strong M&E / OEM Vendor Management especially contracts and procurement processing lifecycle and product implementation
