Network Engineer

We have an urgent requirement for Network Engineer with our client-based Doha,Qatar

The responsibility of the Network Engineer shall be but not limited to the following:

• Carry out implementation of networking projects assigned which may include racking and stacking, preparation, software and firmware updates, basic and advanced configuration, deployment and testing of network devices, appliances and software solutions.
• Experienced in networking solutions like datacenter and campus routing and switching, wireless networking, network optimization, visibility, monitoring and operation management, network access control and security solutions.
• Preparation of as-built and configuration documents required for the project.
• Participate in presales activities such as POC implementation and customer meetings.
• Attend to technical meetings and customer site visits and provide the report to the immediate superior, project manager and business unit head.
• Work and coordinate with senior network engineer and perform tasks assigned by the Network Team Lead and submit status report of the activities performed.
• Coordinate and report project status updates with QCS Project Manager and Team Leads, and customer Project Manager whenever directed.
• Meet project deadlines in terms of project documentations, implementation timelines and project closures which may require working in extended hours or weekends.
• Carry out technical support and maintenance services as defined in Service Agreements and Service Level Agreements with the customers.
• Maintain support assignment records and updating support tickets on daily basis.
• Maintain vendor certifications to meet Vendor Partnership level requirement.
• Maintain up-to-date with the latest products and solutions technology through vendor partner enablement and online trainings.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as directed by the IT Infrastructure Solutions Manager for presales engagements, project implementation and post sales activities.
• Assess customer environment for potential business opportunities and communicate such opportunities to the Business Unit heads.
• Maintain the company standard in performing quality work, documentations and procedures.
• Observe good behavior at all times and adhere to company policies and procedures.
