Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Azure DevOps Lead to oversee the DevOps function for one of Capgemini clients. This role involves leading a small team of DevOps engineers (3 to 5 people), driving CI/CD pipeline excellence, and ensuring robust infrastructure and deployment practices across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep Azure expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 3 to 5 DevOps engineers ensuring high performance and growth.

Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions and related tools.

Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.

Collaborate with development QA and product teams to streamline build test and release processes.

Monitor and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for performance scalability and cost-efficiency.

Ensure security compliance and observability standards are met across environments.

Participate in architectural discussions and provide DevOps best practices to support delivery goals.

Drive automation across the software development lifecycle including testing deployment and monitoring.

Required Skills And Experience

At least 5 years of experience in DevOps with a minimum of 2 years in a lead or senior role.

Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services Azure Pipelines Azure Repos and Azure Boards.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.

Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes and orchestration tools.

Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor Grafana or Prometheus.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

Experience with hybrid cloud environments including Azure AWS or GCP.

Exposure to enterprise-scale projects in insurance or financial services is a plus.
