Senior IT Platform Cloud DevOps Engineer
Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is a Nordic bank headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, offering a wide range of financial services including retail banking, corporate banking, and asset management.
The position is 12 month contract with possibility to extend contract later.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on cloud-based applications and solutions migration to AWS.
- Develop applications and microdevices for Java public cloud-based solutions.
- Engage with a modern tech stack, including: Microservice architecture; Java 21; Maven; Apache Kafka; Elasticsearch; GitHub Actions; Kubernetes; Grafana; Prometheus; OpenTelemetry
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience on developing, deploying and optimising Java base serviceson Cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-based Amazon solutions & services:S3, RDS, VPC, EC2, etc.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (like HashiCorp Terraform).
- Experience with managing Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Kafka and Elastic Search clusters.
- Strong awareness of IT security practices.
- Experience in deploying and optimising highly critical systems and infrastructures.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Self-starter with an excellent sense of ownership.
- It is advantageous if you have experience working with gRPC, MS SQL, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHubActions, Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
The offered salary is up to 48 eur/hour.
