We are currently looking for a Junior Microsoft Power BI Administrator to join our growing client in Luxembourg!

The ideal candidate will join our customer's BI operations team and will be responsible for the related deployments, configurations and daily basis technical support of Microsoft Power BI Service and related applications in on-premises infrastructure. Additionally, ensuring seamless integration between Azure services like Power BI and Fabric and other Azure Data Analytics Services with on-premises data sources.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Microsoft Power BI Service operations, ensuring deployment, performance, security, and compliance ;
• Monitor the health and performance of Power BI Service and its associated services ;
• Regularly update the data gateway platforms to maintain compatibility and address security concerns ;
• Manage Power BI workspaces, user roles, and permissions ;
• Support content deployment and resolve incident ;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Azure tenant and data gateways infrastructure ;
• Ensure proper connectivity between cloud services and on-premises data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) ;
• Creating and managing connections to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, SharePoint, Oracle) ;
• Apply security patches, automate workflows, and enhance operational efficiency ;
• Supporting the operations activities in 24/7 by assuming the rotating on-call duties and different shifts during normal working hours.

Profile :

• 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence support and platform administration ;
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python ;
• Knowledge of PowerApps, Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric and Windows Server administration is a major plus ;
• Any knowledge with Jenkins, Ansible and Git is desirable ;
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment ;
• Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
