As the Lead Node.js Engineer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to lead a newly formed engineering team from anywhere, driving the development of a major product initiative that will transform the company’s core platform.

In this leadership role, you’ll mentor engineers, guide technical direction, and remain hands-on with a cutting-edge Node.js stack. You’ll be responsible for enhancing the platform’s critical search functionality—a key business component—as the company transitions from a legacy monolith to a cloud-native microservices architecture, enabling scalable growth and operational efficiency.

Whether you’re a senior engineer ready to step into leadership or an existing lead seeking greater ownership, this remote-friendly position lets you shape a new team, build an impactful product from scratch, and become a central figure in a company that champions autonomy, trust, and smart scaling.

You will:

• Lead and mentor a new team of engineers
• Guide delivery of a greenfield product with high visibility
• Stay hands-on with Node.js and modern cloud infrastructure

Skills / Experience:

• Strong engineering background (Node.js is a must)
• Leadership experience
• Passion for coaching, influencing, and building team culture

Salary / Remuneration: €65,000 - €75,000 + benefits
