As Odeon Technology, we are looking for a “Product Owner" for our team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• The Product Owner contributes to the creation of the vision and roadmap and acts as an innovator to enhance the capabilities for the product she/he owns,
• The Product Owner is always open to see his/her product from different aspects, regularly follows the competitors, performs benchmark analysis and clearly communicates her/his recommendations to enhance the product she/he owns,
• The Product Owner is the main point of contact with the business units. She/he understands, clarifies the business requests with business units and end users, prioritize the requests by focusing on issues that are valuable to them in order to maximize the value of the product,
• Manages the requests in the Product Backlog. Makes all requests transparent, visible and understandable and keep them prioritized in the Product Backlog,
• Determines the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on the needs of business units and end users and prioritizes the Product Backlog items accordingly,
• Performs high-level size estimation and impact analysis together with the Squad Team,
• Makes version planning of the product and release planning accordingly,
• Participates in Sprint rituals such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement,
• Creates user stories that meets the INVEST criteria. Determines the Definition of Done,
• Manages the development of the product based on data. Analyzes data about the product and usage. Provides data-based decision making and product development,
• Accepts or rejects the developments within the Sprint,
• Product Ownership is a full-time job.

WHO YOU ARE

• The Product Owner in Tourism Domain candidate should have a solid travel and tourism business domain knowledge in one or more fields of travel industry such as tourism B2B/B2C applications, tour operator processes, destinations management (DMC) processes, flight, accommodation, transfer, insurance operations in travel industry. etc,
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Computer, Software or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics, Business, Economics or Tourism related fields,
• MBA degree is preferred,
• At least 5 years of experience directly in the field of travel & tourism or in travel technology,
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Head or similar titles is preferred,
• At least 3 years of experience in agile methodologies, experience in Scrum is preferred,
• Having a product and software-oriented mindset,
• Preferred to have taken part in corporate ERP projects,
• Strong command of English is must, Russian is preferred,
• Having PSPO or CSPO certificate is preferred,
• Being solution oriented,
• Having decision-making skills,
• Skilled in teamwork and have good communication skills,
• Strong negotiation skills,
• Available to travel.
