The software of Clickedu contains a school platform in the cloud that includes academic, administrative and economic management tools, a virtual learning environment with a connection to digital books and free content, management of teachers, tutors and heads of studies, the quality of the centre and a communication environment with families. Clickedu serves nearby 700 centres with 1,500,000 users around Spain and Andorra.

As a Mid PHP Developer you will be working on developing, maintaining, and enhancing web application using PHP and the Symfony framework. Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality PHP applications within a Scrum team environment.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality based on business and user needs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to design and validate technical approaches, including creating proof-of-concepts when needed.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and promoting clean, maintainable code.
• Support the team in making informed technical decisions aligned with project goals. Must-have requirements:
  
  

✅Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ✅Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

✅Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications.

✅Strong knowledge of the Symfony framework and its Doctrine ORM for database interactions.

✅Proficiency in MySQL, including writing and optimizing queries.

✅Familiarity with unit testing, particularly using PHPUnit.

✅Proficient in Git for version control, including experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows. ✅English proficiency: B1/B2 (both written and spoken communication).

✅Spanish proficiency:C1/C2 (both written and spoken communication).

Nice-to-have Requirements

💠Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

💠Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools.

💠Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.

💠Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

💠Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.
