AI Intern

The member compliance team consists of 5 persons located in Amsterdam (4) and Paris (1) and is primarily responsible for oversight over trading behaviour by financial institutions trading on Euronext stock markets. As regulated market, Euronext have the obligation to spot market abusive behaviour and report this to its European regulators.

With the aim to explore the possibilities of applying AI technology in the detection of Market Abuse, Member Compliance would like to install an internship for a student with an AI profile.

Assignment

We are looking for an intern that can help in analyzing possibilities to use AI/automation to:

replace human assessment of possible market abuse cases reduce false positives in alerts triggered by existing tooling regarding possible market abuse behaviour add self-learning capabilities to the existing alert system used for tracing possible market abuse; and to transfer knowledge on current AI capabilities for analysing financial market (trading) behaviour

Profile

For this, we're looking for a:

• Computer engineering student or
• physics/mathematics student with ops/digital work experience or
• change management student 'trained in strategy' or 'innovation methodology' with experience in AI tooling

Ideally someone with some ops/digital work experience and experience in AI tooling.
