Artificial Intelligence Engineer

At Apollo, we’re building the intelligence layer of sustainability.

To do that, we don’t just collect data — we make it think.

We’re looking for a founder-mindset AI/ML engineer to deepen and expand the machine learning backbone of our platform — from model experimentation to production deployment.

You won’t be “part of a data team.”

You’ll work cross-functionally with product and engineering to embed intelligence directly into our workflows — and scale what’s already working.

• Design and implement machine learning models for sustainability use cases (e.g. anomaly detection, energy optimization, impact scoring)
• Work with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, open-source models) to enhance our benchmarking & reporting tools
• Build pipelines to extract structured insight from unstructured data (PDFs, Excel, CSV, reports)
• Own ML architecture, experimentation, and deployment end-to-end
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to embed AI natively into the platform
• Take Apollo’s AI-driven architecture to the next level — as we scale our intelligence layer ahead of Series A

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with production-level deployment
• Ability to build and own solutions end-to-end
• Experience with:
• Python
• OpenAI APIs, Langchain, vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
• Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• LLM fine-tuning and prompt optimization
• Familiarity with SaaS / enterprise platforms
• Fluent in English
• Bonus: background in energy, sustainability, NLP, or time-series
