About The Role

The Content Specialist provides subject-specific content, guidance and quality assurance on content and content development related to their subject area responsibility. Manage specific projects to agreed timelines and within agreed budgets as directed by the Product Development Manager. Follow Agile methodology to ensure flexible and adaptable ways of working, and effective coordination and coherence across the division and department.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, review, edit, and quality assure teaching and learning content from manuscript to published on the platform
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and review assessment items, including - Crafting assessment questions and test format, Analyzing potential student response, Developing effective feedback for student & ensuring assessment guidelines are regularly updated to reflect the nature of the subject matter, project requirements
• Brief and provide feedback to writers and SME reviewers, and support the Product Development Manager by liaising with vendors, design, and production
• Support the Publishing Manager in creating and reviewing product information, and responding to training and implementation teams, including: developing and reviewing product descriptions; communicating regularly with the training and implementation teams, providing updates on content, and receiving feedback on implementation
• Contribute to the development of new project proposals, including: supporting strategic development; identifying content development requirements; supporting the writing and reviewing technical proposals; identifying development costs and commercials

To Be The Right Fit, You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or Education is required
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience teaching high school Biology
• GCC/MENA region experience is required
• K-12 digital content development and publishing experience is required
• International ed tech market best practice experience is preferred
• Teaching experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic
