The Information Division focuses on capabilities and technologies that enable MINDEF / SAF to harness and exploit information in the physical battlefield and cyberspace. Capability areas include cybersecurity, cryptography, data analysis and fusion, artificial intelligence, vulnerabilities assessments and operations analysis. INFO Software Laboratory provides expertise in developing software systems for Data Fusion, Big Data Analytics, AI/ML, C2 and Simulation. We also provide a knowledge base for full-stack software systems development software engineering processes and software methodologies.

Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Conduct research into state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) models, algorithms and techniques.
• Develop AI/ML products and systems to extract and analyse information from large volumes of data, and support human-AI collaboration.
• Work with software engineers, system engineers, and stakeholders to deploy and transit AI/ML models and systems.

Requirements

• Master / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence / Mathematics / Statistics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Proficient in Python programming and familiarity with Python AI frameworks.
• Experience in AI/ ML research and development.
• Experience in software testing and DevOps/DevSecOps
• Ability to work well in a team.
