As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the core functionality of our platform. You’ll work closely with our front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop scalable and robust systems that support our ambitious goals. This is a high-impact role, where your expertise will help shape the future of property investment.

• Develop, test, and maintain the backend architecture for our property investment platform.
• Design and implement APIs that ensure smooth communication between the frontend and backend systems.
• Work closely with our DevOps team to optimise system performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in backend development, ensuring the platform is secure, efficient, and easy to maintain.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, continuously improving the system.

• 1+ years of experience in backend development in GO
• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL would be a plus
• Proficiency in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) for scalable infrastructure.
• Experience with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of blockchain/Web3 technologies and smart contract development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

• This is a Contract Position, so you must have a Reliable Laptop.
• Your working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday working from the office and Monday and Friday working from home. We will welcome you to our White City Office.

As a start-up, we are happy to offer a part-time contract with a salary of £2000
