We are looking for a Data Engineer, who will help to build secure, easy-to-use data platform that helps our AI team find, ingest, and version data in hours—not weeks.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop robust batch and real-time data pipelines using CDC, ETL/ELT, and stream-first architectures to ensure efficient and scalable data processing
- Take ownership of the data lake layout, including cataloging and managing lineage metadata using tools like Databricks and similar technologies
- Automate data infrastructure using Terraform and Helm and implement CI/CD workflows for seamless deployment and maintenance of data pipelines
- Establish and maintain data-quality validation processes, observability frameworks, and cost monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliable and efficient operations
- Proficiency in Python and strong expertise in SQL
- Experience with Apache Kafka, including event-driven design, topic partitioning, and stream processing fundamentals
- Solid knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Hands-on experience with storage services such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), or Azure Blob Storage
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Familiarity with Rust or Go for developing high-throughput data connectors
- Experience with event-driven design patterns and architectures
- Understanding of GDPR and anonymization techniques for sensitive data handling
