Senior Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager to take on a coordinating role within the Platform domain, focusing on long-term strategic projects. The role emphasizes key themes such as Reliability, Life Cycle Management (LCM), Performance, and Capacity Management. The Project Manager will support domain Leads, ensure effective coordination with external service providers, Product Owners, and platform teams, and manage critical IT4IT and platform-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across the Platform domain.
• Support and collaborate with domain Leads on initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Align with external service providers (e.g., Simac), internal platform teams, and functional groups to ensure seamless delivery.
• Manage and drive projects such as:
• IT4IT initiatives (e.g., collaboration with Simac teams)
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) – establishing a uniform approach within the platform domain
• Right Sizing – balancing performance and capacity management
• ACE migration and BTP migration projects
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in project planning and execution within complex IT environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups.
• Technical affinity or knowledge in SAP platforms and infrastructure is preferred.
• Proactive, decisive, and result-oriented mindset.
• Ability to drive innovation and promote simplification across platforms.

This is a 12 months contract + extension
