Take over this pivotal leadership role at a fast-scaling international tech company that’s committed to innovation and growing its engineering presence in Portugal. As Lead Node.js Engineer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build and shape a brand-new engineering team from the ground up, leading the delivery of a major new product initiative that will redefine the company’s core offering.

In this role, you’ll mentor engineers, influence the technical direction, and stay hands-on with a modern Node.js stack. You’ll take ownership of the platform’s crucial search functionality — a core piece of the business. As the company transitions from a legacy monolith to a microservices, cloud-native architecture, you’ll be at the forefront of this largescale modernization effort designed to improve scalability and efficiency.

You will:

Skills / Experience:

• Strong engineering background (Node.js is a must)
• Leadership experience
• Passion for coaching, influencing, and building team culture

Salary / Remuneration: €65,000 - €75,000 + benefits
