Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, working across both artificial intelligence projects and enterprise analytics platforms. This role involves designing robust data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision-making, and contributing to machine learning model development.

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and maintain data validation and quality assurance processes
• Evaluate and implement data storage solutions including relational databases, data lakes, and cloud services
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external data sources and APIs
• Ensure data security and manage access control policies
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Create and manage data models and dashboards on analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, BusinessObjects)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Management Information Systems or similar disciplines
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering and AI-related roles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques
• Experience with ETL tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory, BusinessObjects
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI is a strong asset
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication ability
