Business Intelligence Analyst

We are working with an International supply chain customer who are looking for a Business Analyst for a long term freelance mission.

Fluent in both English and Turkish (native level in Turkish is required).

Resident in Istanbul

Services performing by remote location

daily rate - €300- €320 per day

Below is the job description

Role

10+ years of experience in business intelligence preferably in supply chain area

· Deep experience in gathering requirements from business teams, perform data analysis and data testing

· Deep experience in integrated Supply Chain data modelling

· Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

· Experience in advanced analytics, knowledge of Control Tower, Command Center concepts is a plus

· Experienced in team leadership in analytical teams

· Experience in Power BI

· Preferably experience in Retail, FMCG or Ecommerce industries

· Strong knowledge and experience of SQL

· Phyton knowledge is a plus

· Knowledge of Data Modelling, Data Warehousing

· Able to use Jira and Confluence and experience in agile methodologies.

· Ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view

· Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

· Excellent communication skills with ability to work well across multiple stakeholders and in multi-national environment

Responsibilities

· Gather product data requirements, reporting, dataset,insight analysis requirements from stakeholders, understand the stretegic need behind the requirements to create the visibility and issue management for end-to-end supply chain.

· Perform data availability and source system analysis (SAP, Oracle, GCP etc.)

· Create analysis and mapping documents.

· Work closely with data engineering team, create sample scripts and technical analysis documents

· Create test scenarios and support UAT

· Perform data tests

· Work closely with product teams for data requirements of supply chain products

· Understand product vision, business targets and perform analysis accordingly.

· Transform business and technical requirements to product backlog items. Prioritize the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions.

· Support data dictionary creation activities.

· Drive feature definition, user story detailing

· Participate in or conduct when necessary daily stand-ups, grooming sessions, release planning and retrospectives meetings

· Collect feedback and input from a diverse set of stakeholders from different domains, manage conflicting requests and ensure continuous alignment on priorities

· Be data driven

· Ensure the voice of the stakeholder is present in product decisions and inputs are available in the analysis to measure feature effectiveness

· Prepare clear and concise documents for both the team and the stakeholders

· Collaborate closely with product manager and delivery leader to deliver successful products and implement features required by the stakeholder

· Continously learn and share about industry, strategic supply chain KPI’s.
