In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, including Swift, SwiftUI, XCode, unit testing frameworks, GitHub, and more.
Your contributions will enable new features in our native iOS Manulife Mobile app.

As An IOS Engineer, You Will

Build features in our Client Mobile iOS application.
Employ creative problem-solving to bring software designs to fruition.
Design, code, unit test, and integrate new features and functionality as defined by the Product Owner and team.
Apply agile principles and methodologies.
Assist in developing automated tests to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Update progress daily using tracking tools like Jira and Kanban boards.
Contribute to documentation, including deployment, maintenance, support, and business needs. Engage in weekly meetings to help refine the Product Backlog and provide initial estimates.

Your Skills And Experience Should Include

5+ years of iOS development experience.
Participation in ideation and brainstorming sessions to develop innovative digital solutions. We value fresh ideas.

You Will Work With

Programming languages such as Swift and Objective-C.
Technologies including SwiftUI, UIKit, unit testing frameworks, and GitHub.
Services like REST APIs and integrating third-party SDKs.
Analysts to understand and refine requirements.
Tools like XCode for building and debugging iOS applications.
Open-source technologies to accelerate our delivery of world-class experiences.
New technologies through proof-of-concept projects to integrate into our products.
