The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

What You Will Be Working On

The AI Office is MAS’ central coordinating unit to steer the strategic, responsible and effective adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the Authority. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual to join the team as AI Project Portfolio and Compliance Manager. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Oversee and manage MAS wide AI project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance requirements
• Develop and enforce AI governance frameworks and policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks
• Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and compliance status, reporting to senior management
• Act as a subject matter expert on AI project governance and compliance
• Implement AI compliance training programmes and stay abreast of emerging regulations and industry standards
• Foster a culture of innovation and responsible AI adoption across the organisation
  
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in AI or technology-related fields within public service and/or financial services sector
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, their applications, and the associated regulatory landscape in Singapore
• Excellent knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks, with the ability to enforce AI governance policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing technical and business considerations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in project and product management methodologies, tools, and certifications, with experience in strategic planning for technology projects
