Solution Architect – IT Solutions for the Financial Sector.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Solution Architect to strengthen our team in designing and implementing IT solutions for the financial sector. In this role, you will work on demanding and business-critical systems, designing both new innovative solutions and enhancing existing applications to meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities of the role include designing and defining IT solutions for financial sector companies, considering business needs, technical requirements, and feasibility. You will take responsibility for the overall architecture of technical solutions, ensuring their scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other teams to ensure that the solutions support customer business objectives and can be effectively implemented. Acting as an expert and mentor for development teams, you will help them make the best possible technical decisions. Your role will also involve ensuring the quality and compatibility of solutions with customers' IT environments and regulatory requirements.

Please note that our offices are located in Espoo and Jyväskylä, and the candidate would need to be based in these areas.

Required Skills And Expertise

• Strong application development background with in-depth knowledge of software development and best practices.
• At least 5 years of experience in solution design, having worked in architectural design roles and the ability to model complex IT solutions.
• Good understanding and experience in financial sector systems
• Ability to combine business and technology needs, communicating with business stakeholders and translating their needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and lead technical discussions.
• A solution-oriented mindset, actively seeking solutions and driving projects forward.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with proficiency in key technologies and platforms such as Java, Cloud (Azure), APIs, Microservices, Databases, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in the English language
  
  

Preferred Skills And Expertise

• Knowledge of banking, payment, or insurance systems
• Knowledge of the Finnish language.
