Now we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join the team in Vilnius, Lithuania.


ABOUT THE TEAM:

Our team specializes in building and refining data delivery pipelines that power airline pricing solutions. We focus on ensuring that the flow of complex pricing and flight data is streamlined, reliable, and easy for customers to access and understand. Handling millions of data events each day, our work supports both near real-time data queries and in-depth historical analysis, enabling airlines and partners to respond swiftly to market changes and customer needs.

We are committed to making data distribution as smooth and intuitive as possible, delivering a seamless experience through a variety of channels tailored to different customer requirements. By simplifying the complexity of airline pricing data, our team helps customers gain actionable insights quickly and efficiently, supporting smarter decision-making and enhancing the overall value of airline data solutions.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Software Development (C#): Assisting in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using C# and .NET.
  • Database Development (SQL): Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing existing queries.
  • Bug Fixing & Issue Tracking: Reproducing and fixing bugs, and communicating findings in issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Code Collaboration & Version Control: Using Git to manage code changes and following branching strategies.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Documenting code, features, and system behavior, and maintaining knowledge bases.
  • Support & Maintenance: Providing support for existing systems and monitoring application health.
  • Learning & Development: Participating in code reviews, seeking feedback, and improving technical skills.
  • And other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, especially in C#.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, normalization, and the ability to write SQL queries.
  • Experience with Git (cloning, branching, committing, merging, pull requests).
  • Attention to Detail: proficiency at spotting bugs, writing accurate SQL, and documenting clearly.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to explain technical issues simply.
  • Ability to work well in teams, be open to feedback, and collaborate on shared code.
  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently when needed.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, improve existing skills, and ask for help when necessary.


WOULD BE BENEFICIAL:

  • Travel Domain knowledge.
  • Understanding of DevOps pipelines or deployment processes.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks or CI/CD tools.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
