PlanIT Group is seeking a Mid – Level .NET Developer to support our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal Government customer in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years consecutively.

Mid – Level .NET Developer

Position Description

• Skilled applications developer with technical design capabilities including experience implementing design patterns such as MVC and MVP
• Works collaboratively with a development team to transform business requirements into a technical solution
• Ability to work independently in the writing and support of complex applications
• May take on specialized duties on the development team as assigned
  
  

Primary Requirements

• Minimum of 3 recent years with Angular, C# and .NET Technologies
• Strong programming, design, and analytic skills related to Web Application development.
• A good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, including Single Page Application (SPA) design
• Excellent working knowledge of Angular.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft TypeScript.
• Good working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core
• Good working knowledge of web formats and scripting languages such as JSON, HTML, and JavaScript
• Experience with cloud-based applications platforms such as Azure
• Experience with web services and REST APIs
• Experience working in the Agile software development methodology
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server and writing T-SQL
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus
• Experience working within an Azure PaaS environment
• Experience with AI tools and technologies are a plus
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.
• Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years
  
  

Additional Provisions

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
• All candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident / Green Card required
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
