Senior Java Software Engineer

Our client is a European Agency located in Strasbourg, with a dedicated mission to continuously support the technological efforts for a safer Europe.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who will join the Agency’s dynamic team of core developers working in an agile environment and contributing to the development and integration of software solutions.

Contract type offer:

• French employment contract through a partner company - short-term project

Location requirement:

• Strasbourg, working from the Agency’s offices (100% on-site).

Job Description:

This role is hands-on and requires strong technical expertise in Spring Boot, Java, as well as knowledge and experience with Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting, and queuing and containers, is highly recommended.

Strong teamwork skills are essential, as you will be part of a collaborative squad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Spring Boot and Java.

• Integrate various systems and databases

• Collaborate with team members in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software

solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Utilize different development tools

• Implement and manage clusters, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise.

Key Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as a hands-on software developer.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for the management of cluster

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, and DB integration

• Experience working in an agile development environment.

• Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based environments.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
