DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Remote - Ireland

You will be the first hire within DevOps, which will allow you to take full control of the DevOps environment and put your stamp on it. The role reports directly to the CTO.

You will need to be the type of person who can work on your initiative, as it is a remote role within a small team. You will get the chance to do a 30,60,90 review when starting to review the current setup. There is an environment in place that you'll be expected to manage while taking action on what you think isn't right.

This hire is due to the company expanding into global markets. For them to do this, they need to make sure their environment is as safe as possible. They are building their new microservice-based Fintech product, which is run on Azure.

You will need to have experience with the following:

• Azure Cloud Platform, including Azure DevOps.
• Cloud network configuration – load-balancing, subnets etc.
• Continuous Delivery tooling included test automation.
• Containerisation technologies: Docker & Kubernetes.
• Application configuration management experience.
• Experience in DevOps security best practices and implementation.
