Internal IT Auditor (m/f)

Our client operates in the financial regulation sector and closely works with the European and International regulation entities to structure and promote the financial sector in Luxembourg. Position

• Lead internal audits in IT and information security, and participate in European-level audits as part of the client’s responsibilities in regulatory and oversight functions.
• Identify risks related to information systems and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
• Independently conduct audits of IT projects, applications, and information systems security.
• Provide reasonable assurance regarding the effectiveness of risk control measures.
• Analyze and evaluate audited processes, offering practical recommendations to enhance efficiency.
• Draft clear and comprehensive audit reports.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Provide IT support for the preparation and execution of audit missions across all activities.
• Ideally, participate in and conduct business audits in addition to IT-related engagements.

Profile

• University diploma (Master level) in computer science, information systems or economics (a major in information system audit is advantageous)
• Proven experience at least 2 years as an IT auditor (internal or through a consulting company);
• CISA certification is a serious advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of audit methodologies and IT best practices;
• Excellent knowledge of information system processes and risks;
• Demonstrated excellence in written communication, analytical thinking, synthesis of complex information, and communication at executive level;
• Knowledge of the financial sector is a plus
• Significant interest in conducting business audits;
• Rigor, precision, sense of confidentiality;
• Ability to work independently;
• Language skills requirements: Fluent level in French and English. Fluency in German is an advantage.
