Full-Stack Web Developer (or Frontend only)

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-stack or Frontend Developer to join our REWO.io team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in PHP with a strong emphasis on the Laravel framework for backend development, and possess solid experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js. Frontend developers with basic PHP understanding may also apply.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel for robust backend solutions.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Frontend Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Solid experience with jQuery for DOM manipulation and event handling.
• Experience with Vue.js and its core principles (components, reactivity, Vue Router, Vuex for state management is a plus).
• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with responsive web design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm/yarn).
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling (AJAX).

Backend Skills (if applying as a Full-Stack Developer):

• Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• In-depth experience with the Laravel framework and its core principles (e.g., Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, routing, middleware).
• Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency in working with databases, particularly MySQL or other SQL databases.
• Familiarity with database query optimization.
• Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and tools (e.g., PHPUnit).
• Basic knowledge of FFmpeg for video manipulation

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure).
• Understanding of web security best practices.
