For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer With Windows for a long contract based in Bioggio, Ticino, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Windows-based applications and services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible (Windows modules).
• Manage configuration and monitoring of Windows servers (on-premises and/or cloud-hosted).
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot system and deployment issues across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Administer version control and build systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Implement infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, SolarWinds).
• Ensure security best practices and compliance in Windows-based DevOps workflows.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policies, IIS, and other Windows-based services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineer role, focusing on Windows environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and scripting (PowerShell a must).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools – Terraform, Ansible (Windows modules), or similar.
• Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred).
• Experience with monitoring tools and log management (e.g., ELK, Splunk, or SCOM).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, Windows security, and patch management
