Sr AI/ML Engineer

Key Responsibilities

At 3Pillar, we leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions for our clients. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable ML systems and provide technical mentorship to junior team members. You’ll also evaluate model architectures, explore cutting-edge techniques, and ensure solutions are both impactful and ethical.The tech stack we are using at the moment:

• An excellent API Python Dev with 5+ years experience developing production solutions (i.e. security, performance, scalability, best practices, etc.)
• Solid API experience (i.e. FastAPI)
• Solid DB Experience (i.e. SQL)
• Cloud Experience: Preferable Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, etc.
• 1-2 years experience of implementing GenAI in a production context (very important to have production experience and not simply PoCs).
• Excellent problem solving in the context of GenAI projects
• GenAI application evaluation
• CI/CD Experience
• Good communication skills, personable, adaptable to new ways of working / environment.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building AI models with ML, NLP and deep learning; 6+ is desirable.
• Google Gemini LLM models
• GCP (as mentioned above Vertex AI, Cloud run, Cloud SQL, etc)
• Python 3.12+
• FastAPI
• LangChain (we use it lightly, only some of its utilities but not for LLM interfacing), Native Google GenAI SDK, LangGraph, LangSmith (for some dev evaluation).
• Various open source packages depending on the use case needs.
  
  

Additional Experience Desired

• Good understanding of Software Engineering processes.
• Experience in working with huge datasets in a production environment.
• Experience with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone), RAG, Hugging Face.
• Contributions to research papers, blogs, or open-source projects.
