.NET Engineer

We are looking for a skilled .NET Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable backend systems, working with a cloud-first approach using cutting-edge Azure technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform.

Our client is a leading broking company in the oil trading industry, focused on delivering high-quality, trusted services. We support them in building an advanced brokerage platform to help traders manage operations more effectively.

• Design and develop scalable and resilient backend services using C# and .NET (preferably .NET 6+)
• Implement solutions using core Azure services, including:
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure AI Search
• Apply DevOps best practices, with a strong focus on Terraform-based IaC
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Integrate Redis for caching and performance improvements
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and support architectural decision-making
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack
• Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in .NET, Azure, and DevOps

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of commercial development experience
• Strong expertise in C# / .NET
• Proven hands-on experience with:
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure AI Search
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience with Redis
• Familiarity with non-relational databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
• Understanding of architectural patterns: microservices, event-driven architecture
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional Azure services (e.g., Functions, AKS, Key Vault, Azure Monitor)
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-400)
• Experience with testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)
