Senior Android Developer

🌍✨ We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to work remotely in collaboration with our esteemed business partner.

What We're Seeking

• Architect, build, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin (Java is a plus)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement pixel-perfect and responsive UIs in line with design specifications
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
• Refactor legacy codebases and contribute to overall system improvement
• Stay up to date with new mobile technology trends, tools, and best practices
• Work closely with DevOps to integrate CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of Android development experience
• Extensive experience in Kotlin and Java (nice to have)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI
• Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture
• Strong knowledge of Modular Architecture
• Strong knowledge of modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP)
• Strong knowledge of design patterns like Singleton, Factory, Builder, Observer, State, etc.
• Experience with Unidirectional Data Flow Structure (UDF)
• Proficiency in using Android Libraries and SDKs (Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Android Compose
• Experience working on legacy projects with strong skills in refactoring
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
• Banking Sector experience is a plus
