User Interface Designer

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a talented UI Designer with advanced Figma expertise and a strong background in data visualisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing intuitive and visually engaging interfaces for dashboards, analytics tools, and data-heavy digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clean, user-centric interfaces for complex data environments
• Translate business and user requirements into high-quality UI solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and data analysts
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems in Figma
• Produce wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity visuals, and interactive prototypes
• Visualise complex datasets clearly and accessibly through charts, graphs, and tables
• Advocate for consistency, accessibility, and usability in all visual designs

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in UI or digital product design
• Deep expertise in Figma, including design systems and prototyping
• Strong experience in data visualisation design (dashboards, charts, reporting interfaces)
• Solid grasp of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and colour theory
• Excellent attention to detail and design consistency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within agile teams
• A portfolio that demonstrates modern UI work, particularly involving data-heavy interfaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Experience with UX practices (e.g., user flows, wireframes, or usability testing)
• Understanding of responsive and accessible design principles
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus
