Front-End Software Engineer, Cars Team

Position

As a Front-End Engineer on the Cars Team at KAYAK, you will play a crucial role in developing new features for our main site - mostly working on Cars search related pages, but implementing features on other verticals and cross-site as well. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that will be used by millions of travelers worldwide.

This role will be required to work from our Kaunas office at least 3 days per week.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and maintain core UI components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML;
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement intuitive user interfaces;
• Optimize front-end performance and ensure consistency across platforms;
• Contribute to defining best practices and standards for UI development.

• 3+ years of experience in visual web application development;
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML;
• Strong problem-solving skills in front-end development;
• Ability to translate design concepts into functional UI elements;

Compensation

Software Engineer’s salary consists of three parts:

Base part: may start from 1700 EUR Gross. Being more experienced, your base salary may be up to 4000 EUR Gross for this position.

In addition:

• significant yearly bonuses, approx 10 percent annual salary;
• Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20.000 USD (before taxes) with possibility to get it every year.
