Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems such as dynamic pricing, personalized recommendations, and anomaly detection.
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses and A/B experiments to evaluate product impact.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy data solutions into production.
• Transform complex data into actionable business insights.
• Support the creation of next-generation tools that optimize travel costs and user experience.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PySpark or similar).
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous learning.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level.
  
  

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in the travel or transportation sector.
• Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport).
• Experience with AWS and modern data engineering tools (e.g., dbt).
• Contributions to open-source projects, conference speaking experience, or hackathon wins.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional team environments.
