ABOUT THE TEAM

If you are a techie, you belong in our Technology Team that builds scalable, high-performance platforms for our customers using up-to-date and efficient technologies.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Designing, managing and troubleshooting of network security technologies, including but not limited to intrusion prevention system (IPS), web application firewall (WAF), SSL visibility products, DDoS protection solutions according to best practices.
• Managing and maintaining security-focused features of Edge Distribution Platforms, including WAF, bot management, DDoS protection, and rate limiting. Also, analyzign logs to identify false positives and adjust security configurations accordingly.
• Managing secure web gateway solutions to ensure secure web access and policy enforcement.
• Collaborating with architecture teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performing network security topologies.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the security level of the existing network infrastructure by collaborating with other infrastructure teams.
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to network security infrastructure.
• Researching, developing and implementing new technologies suitable for the network security infrastructure.
• Ensuring that daily operations are facilitated through automation.

Qualities We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security, preferably with exposure to mid/large-scale enterprise or cloud environments.
• Proven experience with security components of one or more Edge Distribution Platforms (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai, AWS CloudFront, Fastly).
• Experience operating and tuning IPS/IDS, SSL Visibility appliances, and Secure Web Gateway tools.
• Experience in designing enterprise-level network security architectures.
• Strong understanding of L3–L7 attack vectors including L7 DDoS, bot attacks, and OWASP Top 10 threats.
• Ability to analyze HTTP request/response logs and correlate security events to real traffic behavior.
• Familiarity with encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, authentication protocols and secure communication practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration purposes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience on IAC tools is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Having knowledge on cloud networking concepts is a plus.
• Having knowledge on container or virtualization platforms is a plus.
