Network Engineer

We’re looking for a senior network engineering lead to drive the design, integration, and optimisation of advanced IP network infrastructures for a large-scale critical infrastructure program in Dubai.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, guiding a skilled engineering team to deliver high-availability, secure, and scalable networks aligned with national transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing network engineering team across design and deployment
• Architect end-to-end network solutions, from concept to production, covering L2/L3 designs, redundancy, resilience, and security
• Oversee feasibility analysis, performance modelling, and system-level integration
• Ensure infrastructure supports current and future business demands through automation, virtualisation, and modernisation initiatives
• Engage in customer workshops, technical reviews, and stakeholder presentations
• Contribute to responses for RFIs/RFPs, and shape technical content for new project pursuits
• Own documentation standards, system test planning, and configuration governance

Requirements

• 9+ years’ experience in network engineering and architecture (or 13+ years without a degree)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
• Deep expertise in enterprise-level routing, switching, network security, and high-availability design
• Strong background in project delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement
• Valid certifications (CCIE, CCDE)
• Prior work on national infrastructure, telecoms, smart cities, or public sector digital programs is highly advantageous
