The Insights Manager is responsible to drive data-informed decision making by consolidating and analyzing market, retail, shopper, and internal performance data. The role is responsible for delivering actionable insights and dashboards to identify growth opportunities, detect market trends, recommend strategic initiatives, and support brand and innovation strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Consolidate and analyze data from Nielsen, Carrefour, Lulu, e-commerce and internal sales sources to provide a monthly brand performance overview and identify key brand trends, gaps, and drivers. Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and business recommendations.
- Build and maintain centralized dashboards to allow intuitive navigation and visibility of business performance. that centralize key metrics across market, sales, and shopper data, enabling fast decision-making.
- Use data to highlight untapped potential, market trends, and underperforming areas to guide portfolio, pricing, distribution, and channel decisions. Identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, white spaces, and shopper behavior trends.
- Advise on the need for consumer or market research to close knowledge gaps, support innovation, or validate key strategic assumptions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Innovation, and Leadership to support key projects with data-backed storytelling and scenario modeling.
Qualifications & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science or related field.
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in market insights, category management, or business analysis within FMCG or retail.
Knowledge
- Proven experience working with syndicated data tools (e.g., NielsenIQ, Kantar, GfK) and retailer data platforms (e.g., Carrefour, Lulu).
- Strong background in data visualization and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel dashboards).
Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
- Excellent storytelling and data visualization skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
- Strong project and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
