Reporting to the Labatt Family Heart Centre Research Manager, the Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to assist with aspects of clinical a clinical research project. This includes coordinating patient recruitment, visits, data collection, and organizing data entry for analysis.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

• Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in new research proposal
• Assisting in manuscript development
• Read and have a general knowledge of protocol and study measures
• Administration of study questionnaires to study participants
• Participate in and observe study related seminars, conferences and forums
• Keep abreast of regulations and policies governing clinical research
• Perform patient interviews and assessments as required by study protocols
  
  

Here's What You'll Need

• Master's degree in nursing science or equivalent healthcare education and/or experience
• At least 2 years related clinical research experience ( mixed methods research
• Has Qualitative research knowledge/background (interviewing; data collection, transcription, data cleaning and data analysis)
• Self-motivated and proactive with an ability to organize and prioritize workflow
• Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
• Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation. Flexible with their availability and organizational skills
• A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion
