About The Role

As a Data Analyst at Aquanow, you’ll be the go-to expert for analytics and reporting, turning complex transactional data into valuable business insights. You’ll create dashboards, develop scalable reporting tools, and support key teams including compliance, finance, and product. Working closely with engineers, you’ll help build a self-serve analytics foundation that drives decision-making and business growth.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to take ownership of the data analytics function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transaction-level data from cryptocurrency trading, payments, and brokerage services.
• Design and maintain analytics dashboards and reporting solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering to automate data pipelines and improve data accuracy.
• Create ad-hoc reports to support finance, compliance, and executive decision-making.
• Build self-service analytics tools to empower internal users with real-time data.
• Monitor data quality, reporting integrity, and compliance deadlines.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and insight.
• Identify patterns, trends, and data-driven opportunities for product and business teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• Experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in fintech or crypto trading environments.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python and/or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proven ability to derive insights from complex datasets and present them clearly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile teams and fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, payments, or digital finance (a plus).
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data management.
