Lead Android Software Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Android Software Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge Android applications.

As the technical lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide engineering practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities


  • Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers in delivering exceptional applications
  • Architect and implement scalable solutions adhering to MVVM or CLEAN architecture standards
  • Collaborate with designers to realize Material Design principles within the application
  • Optimize application performance using reactive programming techniques such as RxJava or coroutines
  • Manage project modularization for better scalability and maintainability
  • Ensure the effective use of dependency injection for cleaner and more testable codebases
  • Oversee code quality, testing, and debugging to meet industry standards
  • Foster an active approach during code reviews and problem-solving sessions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project priorities and technical roadmaps
  • Advocate for innovative technologies and best practices within the development lifecycle


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Expertise in MVVM or CLEAN architecture patterns for structured and testable code
  • Proficiency in reactive programming (RxJava, coroutines) and dependency injection frameworks
  • Solid grasp of Material Design principles and their integration in Android development
  • Strong background in modularization for improved code management
  • Familiarity with React Native, showcasing flexibility to work across platforms
  • Proven ability to lead teams and foster collaboration in a software engineering environment
  • Effective communication skills with an active, solution-oriented approach


Nice to have


  • Knowledge of React Native for hybrid app development
  • Background in cross-platform mobile frameworks to enhance development flexibility
  • Skills in integrating advanced UI animations consistent with Material Design
