Role Overview :

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to lead the design and development of hard goods in our Home category – including kitchenware, serveware, decorative accessories, and utility-based home items. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of materials, product aesthetics, consumer behavior, and functional design to create compelling products that align with our brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design new products across the home hard goods segment (excluding furniture), from ideation to final prototype.
• Conduct market and trend research to identify design opportunities in categories like kitchen tools, tableware, storage solutions, bath accessories, etc.
• Collaborate closely with sourcing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility, material availability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with artisans, vendors, and manufacturers to translate design concepts into samples and final products.
• Ensure alignment with brand aesthetics and design language while also bringing innovation to product offerings.
• Participate in range planning, seasonal launches, and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field from NID or similar college.
• 3–5 years of experience in product design, preferably in home hard goods (e.g., tableware, kitchen accessories, home décor).
• Strong understanding of materials such as metal, ceramic, wood, glass, etc.
• Excellent sketching, prototyping, and communication skills.
• Awareness of current design trends and sustainable practices in home design.
