Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build core components of a high-performance data platform
• Design storage engines, optimize file formats, and develop distributed system architecture
• Improve performance and reliability of query execution on structured and unstructured data
• Build robust backend services to support internal tools and customer-facing capabilities
• Contribute to launch-readiness by helping productionize features and polish workflows

You Will Need:

• 5+ years of experience building backend or systems-level software
• Strong programming skills in Rust, C, or C++
• Solid understanding of operating systems, file systems, and storage internals
• Experience working with modern data formats or infrastructure tools (e.g., Apache Arrow, Parquet, DuckDB, ClickHouse)
• A passion for infrastructure and performance problems
• Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days/week in London or New York City
