AS-400 Programmer
I. General Roles and Responsibilities:
a. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
b. Able to analyze and understand the specifications of the business processes of the client's requirements or market necessities.
c. Able to understand and design the architecture of the hardware and software components of the solutions in which the programmer will work.
d. Comply with IT industry standards and project plans deadlines.
e. Program software codes to produce product solutions for the market and for our customers.
f. Produce (UAT) Testing application software to assure bugs free, interoperability, accuracy, and completeness to achieve desired results.
g. Able to implement software solutions together with the client evaluating the opinions of the users all the time.
h. Develop software solutions documentation such as layouts, requirements tables, flow charts, etc.
i. Experience with GIT (Github/Gitlab)
II. Basic Technical Skills Requirements:
a. DB2, ILE RPG 400, ILE COBOL, CL Language, SQL, Query, DDS, SDA, RLU.
III. Special Technical Skills Requirements:
a. Client Access 400 for Windows, ODBC/API, OS/400 System Administrator Experience.
IV. Educational Requirements:
a. The ideal candidate for this positions should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related IT discipline or equivalent years of relevant.
V. Soft Skills and Others Requirements:
a. Language Skills: Ability to write and speak effectively English and Spanish.
b. Teamwork, success oriented and time management skills
c. Work authorization for United States (Required)
d. Willing to travel - United States (35%)
e. Able to work well independently
f. Able to follow directions and execute a plan of action
