We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Application & Cloud Architect to join our Client's team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will lead the design and architecture of sophisticated applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud environments.

Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Application & Cloud Architect to join our Client's team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will lead the design and architecture of sophisticated applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design complex enterprise applications, primarily in cloud and microservices ecosystems.
- Apply architecture best practices, object-oriented principles, and design patterns.
- Design and model business processes and applications using advanced modeling tools.
- Ensure interoperability through technology such as web services, message-oriented middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Foster integration in a multicultural, international environment.
- Deliver high-standard technical presentations and documentation.
- Stay current with fast-evolving application technologies.
- 10+ years’ experience in Java (J2SE, J2EE) and deep familiarity with design patterns.
- 4+ years’ experience in system architecture and information systems design.
- 5+ years with Spring and Spring Boot.
- 5+ years with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and SQL.
- 3+ years with Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular2 (or similar), and Typescript.
- 3+ years developing secure web applications.
- 5+ years in object-oriented design.
- 2+ years in UI development.
- 5+ years with Maven (or equivalent).
- 3+ years using JIRA and GitLab.
- 3+ years designing REST and SOAP web services.
- 2+ years working with XML.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in multilingual, multicultural teams.
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
