In partnership with one of our clients, a leading german automotive company, Randstad is recruiting for a Senior HR Specialist position.

  • The HR Senior Specialist plays a key strategic role in aligning HR functions with business objectives, working closely with Human Resources department in HQ and GPOs. This position is responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee development, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives. The HR Senior Specialist ensures compliance with labor laws, manages compensation & benefits and leads talent management strategies.


The key responsibilities of this role are:


Recruitment, Employer Branding, and Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs
  • Organize internships and collaborate with universities
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external employer branding events (e.g., job fairs, industry competitions)
  • Manage, oversee and suggest improvements to the Applicant Tracking System, including implementing new functionalities


HR Services:


  • Address employee inquiries through Helpdesk and direct interactions
  • Manage administrative and contractual processes
  • Maintain accurate personnel records in the ERP system
  • Manage employees’ time, absenteeism, and sick leaves
  • Collaborate with government offices and relevant institutional entities (e.g. IEFP) regarding HR matters


Compensation and Benefits:


  • Manage employees’ benefits (e.g. select benefits, update benefits platform, manage billing)
  • Conduct salary analysis against market data and support salary strategy and budget
  • Monitor and optimize the compensation system, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company budget


Training & Development:


  • Identify and analyze training needs in partnership with management
  • Prepare and manage the annual training plan and budget
  • Coordinate training sessions and support post-training activities such as certification, and registration in the HR system
  • Facilitate talent management initiatives, identifying development paths and supporting periodic employee evaluations


Reporting & Compliance:


  • Prepare reports and KPIs for management and headquarters
  • Update internal regulations, procedures, and instructions
  • Provide data and documentation for audits and internal controls
  • Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and act on feedback


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Participate actively in departmental and company-wide HR projects


If you have:


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HR; experience in GBS environment is a plus
  • Experience managing recruitment, employee development, and compensation and benefits processes

Skills and Competences

  • Strong knowledge of labor law, HR management, and training processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and customer service orientation
  • Continuous improvement mindset with openness to change and a proactive approach to promoting best practices across the organization

Additional Information

  • Language proficiency: Portuguese and English at a B2 level; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Good understanding of tax policies and regulatory requirements in HR
