About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Desktop Applications team, you will play a key role in developing new desktop applications and tools. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and build high-quality software products. This position will focus on enhancing Eightpoint's suite of proprietary browser products, playing a key role in shaping the user’s experience and overall product direction. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and product managers to continuously improve performance, usability, and feature sets. The goal is to deliver a faster, safer, and more intuitive browsing experience for millions of users. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality desktop applications using Go and TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Node.js to create responsive user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and product reliability
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve our products
• Adapt to changing project requirements and work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of performance
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices

Who You Are

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on desktop applications
• Proficiency in Go, C#, and TypeScript programming languages
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, or Vue
• Knowledge of Windows API and other relevant technologies is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft SQL Server
