L2 Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled L2 Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution, with strong command of SQL and Linux environments. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage priorities under pressure, and a proactive, client-focused mindset.it


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for applications and infrastructure, including monitoring systems and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues across Linux servers, databases, and middleware components.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with internal teams to ensure long-term issue resolution.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to support troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Monitor system performance and health metrics to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Escalate complex incidents to appropriate teams with clear documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.


Technical Skills:

  • Proven L2 support experience, including system monitoring and incident management
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
  • Solid understanding of Linux command-line tools and administration
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus


Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Client-oriented with a proactive and responsive approach

What do we offer?

  • 25 holiday days per year
  • Hybrid and full remote contracts will receive 150 RON/month for home gas/electricity/broadband bills
  • 786 RON monthly budget in Benefit Online Platform
  • Life Insurance cover
  • The employees working on bank holidays will be benefitting either of a paid day off in the next 30 days + 100% of the hourly base salary for that specific day OR 200% of the hourly base salary for that specific day.
  • Reimbursement for eyeglasses – 25% reimbursed from the total cost, maximum to be reimbursed is 500 RON/year.
  • Childbirth allowance of 6500 RON after 1 year in HCLTech.
