Data Analyst (SQL Specialist - Cluj /Bucuresti)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise to join our team. This role is central to transforming business needs into robust data solutions, ensuring data quality, and supporting strategic decision-making through well-structured data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Conduct rigorous testing to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the improvement of data infrastructure.
• Partner with visualization and analytics teams to automate data transformation and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven robust experience in a similar role with hands-on SQL and database work is key.
• Attention to details is a must.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with BI tools is a plus (PowerBI, Tableau, R, Qlik).
• Experience in the banking/financial field is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehouse technologies, and data governance practices is a plus.
